Main character death (unless it’s a villain main character, those are fine), Modern AUs (of any kind so no coffee shop, university, modern but with magic, etc), unhappy endings, open/ambiguous endings, non-con, self-harm, one-night stands, non-consensual body modifications, horror, infidelity, post-apocalyptic/dystopia aus, child death, child loss, pregnancy loss, pure angst, drawn out miscommunication just for the drama (though miscommunication as a result of cultural differences is ok), unrequited love, gender changes/gender bending

1. Merlin

Fandom Specifics Likes:

Relationships: Sir Leon is my favorite of the knights so anything with him is especially good, with Gwaine/Leon or Leon/Morgana as particular favorites romantically and Arthur & Leon being great either romantic or platonic. However I love Arthur, Merlin, and all the Knights so anything about them as friends or found family is also good.  

Themes/Tropes: Canon era, Knights of the Round Table bonding (especially early days of the commoner knights in Camelot), Merlin and the Knights friendship, Merlin’s magic revealed and subsequent reactions, Lancelot lives

Fandom Specific Do Not Want: Leon/Elyan, Arthur/Gwaine, Leon/Percival, Gwen/Morgana, Merlin turns against Arthur, AroAce Leon (I personally just don’t see him that way)

2. Star Wars Prequels/Clone Wars

Fandom Specifics Likes:

Relationships: Cody/Obi-Wan, Obi-Wan/Jango, Cody/Obi-Wan/Alpha 17, Cody & Rex, Bail/Breha/Fox, Obi-Wan & Quinlan, Cody & Alpha 17, Rex/Bacara, I'm open to a number of other clone/clone ships too Rexcara is just a particular fav.  

Themes/Tropes: Coping with the war, clone culture, No Order 66 AUs are especially enjoyed, Galidraan Didn’t Happen/Happened Differently AUs are also very good, 212th and/or 501st Shenanigans

Fandom Specific Do Not Want: Obi-Wan/Satine, Obi-Wan/any clone other than Cody, Cody/Fox, Obi-Wan/Maul, Master/Padawan relationships, Rex/Ahsoka

3. Lord of the Rings

Fandom Specifics Likes:

Relationships: Aragorn/Arwen, Aragorn/Arwen/Boromir, Boromir & Aragorn, Boromir & Faramir, Fellowship Friendship

Themes/Tropes: I am all about Boromir Lives and actually gets to see Gondor heal, otherwise post-war politics/rebuilding efforts are super fascinating, but things that happen during the Quest are good too

4. The Hobbit

Fandom Specifics Likes:

Relationships: I am a Durin Family Feels girl all the way in this fandom. I don’t necessarily dislike all the major pairings, for me this one is just all about the platonic feels. Background romantic pairings are fine as long as the Family Feels are the main focus.

Themes/Tropes: Pre-series, Thorin struggling with being both Uncle and King to Fili and Kili, rebuilding Erebor in an everyone survives the Battle of the Five Armies AU

Fandom Specific Do Not Want: Canon compliant deaths from Battle of the Five Armies (I sail the River of Denial in this fandom)

5. The Mummy/Mummy Returns

Fandom Specifics Likes:

Relationships: Evelyn/Rick/Ardeth, Evelyn/Rick

Themes/Tropes: Post either movie, exploring Ardeth’s culture more, exploring any of their pasts

Fandom Specific Do Not Want: The third movie never happened as far as I’m concerned. 


6. Star Trek: AOS
Relationships: Kirk/Bones, Kirk & Pike (dadmiral Pike is one of my favorite tags in this fandom, no joke), Enterprise Crew as Family

Themes/Tropes: Academy Years, Five Year Mission, Into Darkness fix-its


7. Hawaii 5-0
Relationships: Steve/Danny

Themes/Tropes: Steve being Uncle Steve to Danny's kids, Danny being supportive of Steve, Steve getting Danny to embrace life in Hawaii 

Fandom Specific Do Not Want: Steve or Danny in a relationship with anyone else, anything compliant with the series finale


8. Rogue One

Relationships: Jyn/Cassian

Themes/Tropes: Fix-It, How they handle surviving Scarif, Jyn finding her place in the Rebellion

Fandom Specific Do Not Want: Another denial case here, so no canon compliant with the end of Rogue One. Doesn't have to be an everyone survives, but Jyn & Cassian at least need to. Nothing focused on Andor related content.
